Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data INTRARENT collects through intrarent.gr, why, for how long, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
The data controller is INTRARENT, Doukissis Plakentias 120, 15234 Chalandri, Athens, Greece · info@intrarent.gr · +30 210 601 3232.
What we collect
- Booking requests: vehicle, pick-up and return dates, times and places, extras, driver age group, first and last name, email, phone and any comments.
- Messages and tour, transfer or service requests: name, email, phone, subject and message.
- Technical data: your IP address, kept for one day to stop automated spam, and the server logs of our hosting provider.
- Cookies: see the cookie policy.
Why and on what legal basis
- To answer your request, confirm availability and price, and carry out the rental: steps before and for a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounting and tax records of rentals: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- To protect the site from abuse: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and advertising measurement: only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
We do not use your data for automated decisions, and we do not sell it.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase (database, servers in the EU, Ireland): stores requests and messages.
- Vercel (website hosting).
- Resend (sending the emails about your request).
- Google (Analytics and Ads only after consent; Maps only when you choose to show the map).
Where a provider processes data outside the EU, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Requests that did not lead to a rental: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Confirmed rentals: as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires.
- Messages: up to 24 months.
- Spam-protection IP addresses: 1 day.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy in a portable format; and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@intrarent.gr. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes
We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
